Gaston Xavier Mendy (born November 22, 1985 in Bally〔(MNAfrica.net - Fiche de Gaston Mendy )〕) is a Senegalese-Guinea-Bissauan〔(Gaston Mendy :: Gaston Mendy :: FC Petrolul Ploiesti )〕 footballer.
== Career ==
The midfielder started his career on the youthside of ASC Jeanne d'Arc. He joined in spring 2004 to Panthers Dakar and played his first professional season.〔(Gaston MENDY )〕 In summer 2005 was sold to Portuguese III Divisão Serie A side Desportivo de Monção. He played one only one cap for Monçao and signed than one year later with GD Estoril Praia. Mendy scored in 25 games, two goals and moved than to Romanian Divizia A club Farul Constanţa.
